Two theatre shows - Tell Tails and Coin Toss Hamlet
Am greatly looking forward to seeing these two plays come to life.
Tell Tails, by Bridget Nicklason-King, is a short, intimate one-woman show based on stories told to her by her grandmother. Bridget's amazing physical presence and movement provide a great opportunity to compose an idiosyncratic and varied score.
Hamlet: Heads or Tails (Loud Mouth Theatre Co.) is at the other end of the spectrum; big cast, established play, long-form. The casting of each role will be decided on the night by a coin toss, which means each roles is learned by two actors, neither of them knowing who they're playing until the coin comes down. It's a great idea, and brings a whole new level of interest to a much-loved play. Looking forward to working with director Matt Wilson, who directed the first two shows I was ever involved in (Trainspotting, Myth, Propaganda and Disaster in Nazi Germany and Contemporary America)
